ReplyDelete“For the measure you give will be the measure you get back”. This reminds me of St Francis’ prayer - it is pardoning thate we are pardoned. It is giving that we receive. Jesus’ message is clear - it’s not about self promotion and self-elevation. It’s abou raising others up through our acts of sacrifice. Loving father, grant me the faith to live an “other-focussed” life. May I continue to find energy in gratitude so that I can give to others froma place of graciousness. Amen.
